Nxai Pan National Park is a protected area in Botswana known for its expensive salt pans, grassland and unique desert-adapted wildlife.

The park offers several activities for visitors, including game drives, guided walks and bird watching. During game drives, visitors have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals such as lions, zebras and giraffes among others. Game drives provide a more intimate experience with nature allowing visitors to explore the park’s landscapes and observe wildlife up close. Bird watching also is popular activity, as the park is home to over 200 bird species.

There are several camps and private campsites available for visitors in Nxai Pan. One of the most popular camps is Nxai Pan Camp of Kwando Safaris, which offers luxury tented accommodation and a variety of activities. There are campsites also are typically equipped with basic amenities such as toilets and showers and visitors must bring their own camping gear and supplies.
